Texas-based Jack Mason reset expectations for itself among watch enthusiasts when it launched the original Strat-o-Timer back in 2022. The watch was one of the first to feature Miyota’s 9075 automatic movement, which brought a feature once found only in higher-end GMTs to within reach of those with tighter budgets. This so-called jumping local hour hand feature allows wearers to operate the watch’s hour hand independently without entirely stopping the movement, which is convenient for anyone regularly bouncing between timezones.
Now, the brand has added a series of small refinements that’ll speak to both watch obsessives and more casual fans looking for something to wear daily. For the first time, there’s a slightly less busy option for a single-colored ceramic insert. The crown has also been enlarged ever-so-slightly to make it easier to screw down. Rounding it all out is an additional lume on the hands for increased legibility and a more scratch-resistant coating.
And while the line has technically expanded to include three new colors, the aptly named Magnolia edition seems particularly well-suited for rounds on your local course or, more appropriately, your next golf trip.
Every model is also assembled here in the USA.
